2-Day Chengdu Private Tour: Pandas, Mount Qingcheng & Dujiangyan

Spend the morning exploring the panda enclosures with your guide. Watch the pandas, take photos and learn about the centre’s breeding and conservation work as you walk between the viewing areas. The route follows the areas open that day; particular pandas and cubs cannot be guaranteed.

Take a break for lunch before the afternoon walk. Your guide can suggest Sichuan dishes, local snacks or a restaurant to suit your tastes. The meal is paid for separately.

Follow Chunxi Road past the giant panda sculpture climbing the outside of IFS, then walk into Taikoo Li. Browse the lanes, stop for photos or take a café break along the way. You will see the IFS panda from outside; access to the rooftop is not included.

Finish the afternoon with a walk through SKP’s outdoor gardens and a look at its sculptural towers. This is a daytime visit, with time for photos before the drive back to your hotel. Water features run on the venue’s own schedule.

Ride the cable car up Mount Qingcheng’s Front Mountain, then walk among the upper temples with your guide. The visit still involves steps, both up and down. Admission, sightseeing shuttles and the uphill cable car are included; a downhill cable car ride is paid for separately. The route does not cover the Back Mountain or the full summit circuit.

Stop for lunch near the foot of the mountain before driving to Dujiangyan. Your guide can suggest a local restaurant; the meal is at your own expense.

Explore the Fish Mouth, Flying Sand Weir and Bottle-Neck Channel with your guide, following the way water moves through the irrigation system and out across the Chengdu Plain. The walking route depends on which areas are open. In winter, we may visit earlier to allow for shorter opening hours.
