These Terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you ("User", "you", or "your") and Roamvage ("we", "our", or "us"). We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Changes will be effective immediately upon posting. Your continued use of the Services after any modifications indicates your acceptance of the updated Terms.
Roamvage is a China-based tour booking platform that provides:
Standard Day Tours: Private 1-day tours in major Chinese cities with English-speaking guides, vehicle transportation, and curated itineraries.
Multi-Day Tours: 2-3 day private tours covering multiple destinations and experiences.
Private Journeys: Customized theme-based travel experiences designed around your interests (e.g., photography, food, history, nature).
All tours are private — meaning only you and your travel companions participate. We operate as a direct provider, not a marketplace. Guides are local professionals we work with directly.
Booking Process: To make a booking, select your desired tour, number of travelers (adults, children, infants), preferred time slot, and pickup location. Complete the checkout process with payment to confirm your reservation.
Booking Confirmation: A booking is confirmed once payment is successfully processed. You will receive a confirmation email with your booking details and itinerary.
Accuracy of Information: You are responsible for providing accurate and complete information during the booking process, including contact details, traveler information, and pickup location.
Tour Availability: All tours are subject to availability. We reserve the right to cancel a booking if a tour becomes unavailable, in which case a full refund will be issued.
Pricing: All prices are displayed in your selected currency (default USD) and represent the total price for the entire group, not per person. Prices include guide service, vehicle transportation, and listed inclusions. Prices do not include personal expenses, meals (unless specified), gratuities, or admission tickets (unless specified).
Payment: Full payment is required at the time of booking. We accept major credit and debit cards through Stripe, our secure payment processor.
Currency: The final charged amount will be in USD. For display purposes, we may show approximate conversions to other currencies based on current exchange rates.
Taxes: All applicable taxes are included in the displayed price.
Free Cancellation: You may cancel your booking up to 24 hours before the scheduled tour start time for a full refund.
Late Cancellation: Cancellations made less than 24 hours before the scheduled start time are not eligible for a refund.
No-Show: If you do not appear at the designated pickup location within 30 minutes of the scheduled time without prior notice, it will be treated as a no-show and no refund will be issued.
Cancellation by Roamvage: We reserve the right to cancel a tour due to unforeseen circumstances (extreme weather, guide illness, safety concerns). In such cases, we will offer either a full refund or rescheduling at your preference.
Refund Processing: Refunds will be processed through the original payment method within 5-10 business days.
By using our Services, you agree to:
Provide accurate, current, and complete information during booking and account registration. Maintain the confidentiality of your account credentials. Arrive at the designated pickup location on time on the day of your tour. Comply with all applicable laws and regulations during your tour, including local customs and site regulations. Treat guides, drivers, and other service providers with respect. Obtain appropriate travel insurance for your trip to China (we recommend comprehensive travel insurance covering medical, trip cancellation, and personal liability).
You agree not to use our Services for any unlawful purpose or in violation of these Terms.
All content on the Roamvage website, including text, images, logos, graphics, tour descriptions, itineraries, and software code, is the property of Roamvage and protected by applicable intellectual property laws.
You may not reproduce, distribute, modify, or create derivative works from our content without our express written permission.
User-generated content (such as reviews) that you submit to us grants Roamvage a non-exclusive, royalty-free, perpetual license to use, display, and distribute that content in connection with our Services.
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law:
Roamvage is not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of our Services.
Our total liability for any claim arising from our Services is limited to the amount you paid for the specific booking giving rise to the claim.
We are not responsible for circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to: weather conditions, natural disasters, government actions, traffic conditions, site closures, or third-party service disruptions.
Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law.
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the People's Republic of China.
Any dispute arising from or relating to these Terms or our Services shall first be attempted to be resolved through informal negotiation. If the dispute cannot be resolved informally, it shall be submitted to the competent courts in the jurisdiction where Roamvage is registered.
For international users, you agree to comply with all local laws applicable to your use of our Services.
