Airport pickup and hotel transfer

Your private driver meets you at the confirmed Chengdu airport. Transfer to the hotel and check in during normal hotel hours; early check-in or luggage storage is a separate arrangement to confirm.

Sichuan hotpot, if it suits your arrival

A hotpot dinner is part of the reference idea for the first evening. Discuss spice preference, dietary needs, the restaurant and cost in advance. The meal is only included when itemised in the quote, and can move to the second evening after a late arrival.

Two nights in Chengdu

Stay at the same hotel for two nights. Keep the first evening flexible before tomorrow’s morning visit.

Watch pandas in the public viewing areas

Visit the Chengdu Research Base of Giant Panda Breeding at the confirmed admission time. Follow a manageable route through open viewing areas and observe the animals from the visitor paths. The animals choose whether to eat, move or rest; specific individuals, cubs and behaviour cannot be guaranteed.

Animal care, heat, weather or maintenance may change access. Follow the site’s rules, keep voices down and do not use flash or feed the animals. This is observation, not an animal-contact experience.

Return to the city and take a break

Leave time for lunch and a pause after the morning’s walking. Tell your guide your preferences; lunch and tastings are separate unless the quote includes them.

Wuhou Shrine and Jinli

Visit the shrine’s memorial halls to understand the roles of Liu Bei and Zhuge Liang in the Three Kingdoms story. Continue to Jinli’s public pedestrian streets for shops and snack stalls. It is a lively visitor district; we do not present it as a private neighbourhood encounter.

The final service list states the shrine admission and guided hours. Tastings, shopping and any additional paid experiences are separate.

Second night in Chengdu

Return to the same hotel. The rest of the evening is free, or can hold the hotpot dinner if that was moved from arrival day.

Chengdu to Guilin

Transfer to the airport for the confirmed domestic flight. On arrival, meet your driver and continue according to the agreed hotel and sightseeing plan. The airport, fare and baggage allowance are specified before booking.

Reed Flute Cave and Elephant Trunk Hill

The reference sightseeing pairs Reed Flute Cave with a riverfront look at Elephant Trunk Hill. The cave brings you inside Guilin’s limestone landscape, while the river shows the same rock forms above ground. A suitably early flight is needed for both; with a later arrival we agree a shorter visit or extra night before booking.

Admissions for these requested Guilin visits are itemised in your quote. There is no assumption that two attractions can always be visited after any flight.

One night in Guilin

Rest before the cruise day. Boarding time, pier transfer and the handling of your main luggage are confirmed.

Hotel checkout and pier transfer

Travel to the agreed cruise boarding point after checkout. Keep essentials with you; the itinerary explains how your main bags get to the Yangshuo hotel.

A scheduled Li River cruise

Board the shared vessel and watch the hills, river bends and settlements change as you travel. The ticket category, vessel, meal arrangements and landing point are confirmed in the written quote.

The usual sailing is one way towards Yangshuo. Water levels, weather or navigation restrictions can alter it; we explain any revised sailing and road connection rather than promise the same route in all conditions.

Settle into Yangshuo

Transfer to your hotel and keep the remainder of the day flexible. Depending on its location, you might walk nearby public streets or simply rest. A visit to West Street is an independent option, with any additional transport at your own expense.

First of two nights in Yangshuo

Stay in the same hotel tomorrow night. Your independent day needs no packing or intercity transfer.

Choose your own countryside pace

Ask for suggestions suited to your hotel location, the weather and your walking comfort. Public lanes offer views of fields and limestone peaks without committing to a long route. Cycling requires suitable equipment and a route within your ability; hire, guiding and extra transfers are not included by default.

Discuss a Yangshuo cooking class

Use the trip option to request a class during the free day. A provider must confirm the language, venue, menu, dietary needs, session length, transport and price. It is not included until agreed, and a market visit or private class is not automatically promised.

Second night in Yangshuo

Return to the same hotel. Your Guilin airport pickup time for tomorrow is confirmed around the booked flight.

Return to Guilin airport and fly east

Meet your private driver for the road transfer from Yangshuo to Guilin airport, then take the confirmed flight. Allow for the road journey, airport formalities and the airline’s luggage rules rather than planning a full morning excursion first.

The Bund at street level

Meet your Shanghai driver and follow the confirmed hotel and sightseeing order. With sufficient time, walk the Bund with your guide and compare its older riverfront buildings with the towers across the Huangpu.

Huangpu River sightseeing cruise

Take the booked scheduled shared cruise for a view of both riverbanks. The pier, sailing, ticket category and transfers are confirmed in your quote; a private boat or dinner cruise is not assumed.

The flight must support the cruise check-in time. If no suitable combination is available, we agree an adjusted itinerary or additional night before booking rather than guarantee a late-night sailing.

One night in Shanghai

Return to your hotel. There is no full Shanghai sightseeing day in this seven-day route; extra time in the city can be quoted.

A flexible departure morning

Have breakfast if the flight time allows. Check out during the hotel’s normal hours; late checkout or an additional night is a separate request.

Meet your driver for the transfer to the Shanghai airport shown in your itinerary. The pickup time takes account of your flight, the airport and expected traffic.
