A planned return transfer lets you spend Day 4 at Rusutsu and return to your Niseko base. Snow, roads and lift operations may change the plan.
Beginner skiers, experienced skiers and snowboarders do not automatically belong in one lesson. Request the right instruction, with lift passes and rental needs shown separately.
Who it suits. Skiers and snowboarders who prefer one accommodation base and want to compare Niseko with Rusutsu. Beginners can request lessons; non-skiers need their own agreed plan.
The pace. Six days include two transfer days and four full resort days. The programme has room for rest and weather changes. No powder conditions, lift connection or number of open runs is guaranteed.
Your itinerary
This itinerary can be fine-tuned to your interests and pace. Any changes, availability and the final quote are confirmed before booking.
Day 1 · New Chitose → Niseko
Meet your private driver at New Chitose Airport and travel to your Niseko accommodation for five nights. No skiing is scheduled around the flight.
Day plan
Provide bag counts, ski or snowboard bags and child-seat needs in advance so the vehicle can be selected. Winter road conditions set the journey time.
Confirm the next day’s lift access and any pre-booked rental or lesson meeting point. A same-day fitting is possible only if arrival and shop hours allow; it is not guaranteed.
Eat near your accommodation at your own expense. Popular restaurants may need advance booking; no restaurant reservation is included automatically.
Day 2 · Niseko
Use the first resort day to settle into the snow and the local lift layout. Stay on terrain appropriate to your ability.
Day plan
If you have arranged rentals, allow time for fitting before any lesson. Buy or collect the pass appropriate to the ski area you will actually use; rentals and passes are separately quoted.
A requested lesson operates only with the confirmed school, duration and participant grouping. Without a lesson booking, this is an independent day; beginner tuition is not supplied by the transfer driver.
Return to your base. Ask about a suitable onsen visit if wanted; access, transport, bathing policies and any entry fee depend on the chosen property or facility.
Day 3 · Niseko
Keep the day for skiing, a shorter session or a rest. There is no move between resorts today.
Day plan
Check lift and weather reports and follow the resort’s marked routes and instructions. Connections between Niseko ski areas can close; do not assume every lift will operate.
Keep skiing within your ability, return early, or make independent non-ski plans. Any additional lesson, transport or activity must be booked separately.
Prepare for the planned Rusutsu day and confirm the next morning’s pickup. Meals other than the proposed breakfasts are at your own expense.
Day 4 · Niseko → Rusutsu → Niseko
Travel by private vehicle to Rusutsu for an independent resort day, then return to Niseko.
Day plan
The pickup and return times are agreed in advance. Severe road or lift conditions may require a revised day; the transfer does not include a vehicle waiting for unscheduled trips.
Use suitable open slopes or attend a separately confirmed Rusutsu lesson. A Niseko pass does not automatically cover Rusutsu. Lessons, rentals and lift passes are separate items, and commercial instruction must come from an approved provider.
Meet at the agreed pickup point and return by road. Keep the evening free, allowing for snow and traffic.
Day 5 · Niseko
Spend the final full day in Niseko. Keep it flexible enough for another ski session or a slower finish.
Day plan
Choose runs for the conditions and your energy. This itinerary does not include off-piste guiding, backcountry access, avalanche equipment or training.
Confirm equipment return deadlines and settle any personal charges. A bath or non-ski activity is optional and arranged separately.
Pack skis, boards and luggage for the airport transfer. Check the departure time with your driver or coordinator.
Day 6 · Niseko → New Chitose
Check out and travel to New Chitose Airport. The day is reserved for departure, not a final ski session.
Day plan
Leave enough time for snow, traffic and airport check-in. An early flight may need a different final-night plan; confirm flights before making non-refundable arrangements.
Travel in the vehicle arranged for your party and luggage. Flights and onward services are separate.
